Passion, bitterness, jealousy and innocence all converge on a tragic collision course in one of Giuseppe Verdi's most stirring operas, his masterful adaptation of William Shakespeare's Othello.

Otello captures Verdi at the height of his powers, filling the music with equal measures of poetry and passion. Festival Opera is proud to celebrate Verdi's 200th anniversary with this exceptional musical achievement, presented in co-production with Palo Alto's West Bay Opera.
